Privacy policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

The short version: your recordings stay on your device unless you post them, there are no accounts, and we collect as little as a website can get away with.

Your recordings

When you dub a scene, your voice takes are recorded and stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded anywhere while you play. Exported video cuts are rendered on your device too.

If you choose to post a dub to the Dub Gallery, the audio takes for that dub — along with your stage name, optional tagline, and voice-match score — are uploaded to our servers and become publicly visible to anyone.

Posted dubs may also be featured in short promotional videos on Dub-Off's own social media accounts, credited to your stage name. Only what you already made public goes in one. You can opt out at support@dub-off.com; see the terms for the details.

What we store on our servers

Analytics, ads & hosting

We use Google Analytics to see how many people play and which pages they visit. Google sets cookies and receives standard device data; see Google's privacy policy.

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technology to serve those ads and to measure them, and may personalise what you see based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can turn personalised advertising off at My Ad Center, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Dub-Off is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) as any host does; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we don't do

Removal & questions

Want a gallery post, stage name, or submission removed? Email support@dub-off.com and we'll take it down. Complaints about someone else's post go to complaints@dub-off.com.

Dub-Off isn't directed at children under 13; don't post to the gallery if that's you.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
